World Health Ambassador became an independent 501(c)(3), non-profit organization in 2007 after several years as a pilot program of the Vietnamese American Medical Association.
WHA now has more than 285 members, across 15 states and several foreign countries including the United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Egypt, India, Philippines, Vietnam, Australia and Canada. To date, WHA had sent medical and dental teams to Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos.
