Thang Ba Pham, D.D.S., Dental Team Coordinator, and Howard Ngo, D.D.S., represented WHA at the Biloxi, Mississippi Health Fair on April 19, 2009. WHA's informational booth provided information about the WHA program and our WHA dentists provided free dental screenings for adults and children.

Despite a gloomy overcast sky, the Festival was well attended by several thousand visitors. There was good traffic through the WHA booth. The WHA volunteers were interviewed by a local Chinese newspaper reporter and met up with old acquaintances, including an ER nurse from Bangladesh who expressed interest in joining WHA and perhaps helping to coordinate a trip to her home country. Throughout the day, WHA volunteers passed out dozens of informational brochures and free lip balms.
